 Carson Rowland served as a Fire Controlman (FC) in the United States Navy from 2018 to 2022, separating at the rank of Fire Controlman Petty Officer Second Class (E‑5). After completing his service, he began his education at Columbus State Community College, where he served as President of the Columbus State Veterans’ Organization. 

He is now an undergraduate social work student at The Ohio State University and plans to complete his Master of Social Work in Spring 2028. Carson will begin an internship this fall with the Department of Veterans Affairs, with the long‑term goal of becoming a Licensed Independent Social Worker specializing in individual psychotherapy, substance use, and rehabilitation counseling for veterans.
