Marysville Memorial Day Parade and VSTAA signing at VFW

Memorial Day was filled with a sense of Honor in Remembering our Fallen, our Lost and those that only share in our space through Prayers and Memories.

The Marysville Parade was one of Good Ole Country vibes with families lining the streets.... I remember those days as a youngster and it gave me great pride to be in the Parade with youngsters waving, Saluting me. A WWII Vet sitting amongst the crowd stood up, a little wobbly, but stood up returning a Salute when I stood at attention rendering a Salute to him.

Then off to the VFW Red Fougthy where Ohio's Flag was Honored with more Veteran Signatures. Thank you Commander for your hospitality; once again a 'community' feel and bonding afternoon..... I tell ya, this is what America needs.... ole fashion values of Honor, Family and Patriotism.

And to my Grandfather, SH2 Pisano, my Dad, CWO3(ret) Pisano.... you are missed and may CPO(ret) Pisano carry on your Military/Navy Legacy with Honor, Courage and Commitment.

Dr. Chrisanne Gordon palming a RLF Coin to Commander Red Fougthy in the most traditional way.

VSTAA at Blessing of The Bikes 2024

Join Resurrecting Lives Foundation in making a difference!

If you ask Dr. Gordon of Resurrecting Lives Foundation what she did this weekend, look no further than The Blessing of the Bikes in Dayton; thousands of Bikes and Bikers were 'Blessed' so that they may ride in safety on the roadways. A caveat to Sunday's Blessing of The Bikes Event was being able to feature Ohio's Veterans Standing Together Across America Flag(commissioned by Resurrecting Lives Foundation and gifted to the State of Ohio) and the Nationwide Veteran Suicide Prevention Campaign. The Flag, with its own Mission to collect as many Veteran Signatures across Ohio, was able to acquire many Veteran Signatures during the Event..... bringing Community and Veterans together..... and building a stronger relationship for VSTAA's Mission, to reduce the Veteran Suicide Rate nationwide..... together.

VSTAA at the VA Community Living Center (CLC)

The Stand Together Flag, first created by Chief Pisano in 2018 was given that title name with the help of a US Marine Veteran, Jorge Sandoval. Since then, the Flag has grown from One Frame to Four Frames, a mere hundred Veteran Signatures to over one Thousand Veteran Signatures. The Flag has evolved to become a Nationwide Veteran Suicide Prevention Campaign entitled Veterans Standing Together Across America, VSTAA. The title of this Campaign was given its name with the help of a USAF Veteran, Commissioner Rick Perales. Dr. Chrisanne Gordon of Resurrecting Lives Foundation commissioned PISANO Artistry to create a Flag for Ohio. With Veterans from WWII and the Vietnam Conflict at the CLC VA in Dayton Ohio, all participated in signing the Ohio's VSTAA Flag.

Thank you to Jennifer DeFrancesco, Medical Director, and her staff for their support.
